Diese landschaftlich sehr eindrucksvoll Tour zu Füßen der berühmtesten aller Dolomitengipfel kann jeder bewältigen. Skipisten und Bergbahnen bilden einen Ring, der über die Pässe Giau und Falzarego, durch das Gadertal (Badia), Arabba und Alleghe führt und dabei praktisch den Symbolberg des Ersten Weltkriegs, den Col di Lana umrundet.
Die Tour kann man an einem Tag fahren. An keinem Ort ballt sich soviel Geschichte, wie im Gebiet zwischen den Bergen Lagazuoi, 5 Torri und dem Falzaregopass, wo sich die das größte Freilichtmuseum des Ersten Weltkriegs der Dolomiten befindet, das man im Sommer besichtigen kann.
Die Tour kann im und gegen den Uhrzeigersinn gefahren werden.

Pistenplan
Fährt man die Tour im Uhrzeigersinn, erreicht man die Pisten des Skigebiets 5 Torri auf Skiern.
Von hier aus gelangt man mit dem 4er-Sessellift zuerst zur Hütte Rifugio Scoiattoli und anschließend, mit dem 2er-Sessellift Potor, zum Bergjoch Forcella Nuvolau.
Daraufhin fährt man auf der Piste Fedare zur gleichnamigen Hütte hinab, wo ein kostenpflichtiger Shuttle-Dienst die Verbindung mit Pescul und Civetta und somit die Fortführung der Tour ermöglicht.

Man kann die Gebirgsjäger-Skitour im Gadertal (Alta Badia) beginnen, genauer gesagt beim Hotel Armentarola (St. Kassian), von wo aus ein kostenpflichtiger Taxi-Bus zumFalzarego-Pass fährt. Am Pass angekommen, fährt man entweder zu den Bergbahnen des Col Gallina und der 5 Torri oder man erreicht mit der Seilbahn den Gipfel des Lagazuoi. Auf dem Lagazuoi kann man auf Skiern die österreichischen Maschinengewehrstellungen besichtigen und, ein wenig unterhalb, die Wachtstellung samt Offiziersbaracke sehen. Von hier aus fährt man die Lagazuoi-Piste hinab, erreicht die Bergbahnen von Col Gallina und schließlich den Sessellift 5 Torri und setzt so die Rundtour zum Giau-Pass fort.
TAXI vom Gadertal (Val Badia) - HOTEL ARMENTAROLA/CAPANNA ALPINA zum FALZAREGO PAS
Außerdem bedient ein Bus der Fa. Cortina Express den Streckenabschnitt Colfosco - Corvara - La Villa - St. Kassian - Falzaregopass und zurück. Es fährt nur nach Voranmeldung.
Das Gebiet der 5 Torri kann entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn mit dem kostenpflichtigen Shuttlebus erreicht werden, der von Pescul im Skigebiet Civetta abfährt (siehe den oben angeführten Fahrplan). Mit dem Fedare-Sessellift erreicht man das Bergjoch Averau, fährt auf der Fedare-Abfahrt hinunter, biegt rechts ab und fährt zum Croda Negra-Sessellift, der zur kleinen Gabelung führt, an der die Abfahrt auf der Piste Croda Negra beginnt. Diese schöne Panoramapiste führt zuerst nach Col Gallina und dann zum Falzarego-Pass, wo man die Seilbahn Lagazuoi nimmt.
Auf dem Lagazuoi kann man auf Skiern die österreichischen Maschinengewehrstellungen besichtigen und, ein wenig unterhalb, die Wachtstellung samt Offiziersbaracke sehen. Daraufhin fährt man links auf die Armentarola-Piste und fährt zwischen den Felswänden der Fanesgruppe und des Conturines und an jahrhundertealten Zirbelkiefern und spektakulären Eisfällen vorbei ins Gadertal hinab. Am Ende der Piste bringt ein Pferdezug die Skifahrer zu den Pisten des Gadertals, von wo aus man die Tour nach Arabba, Padon und Marmolata fortsetzt.
Um die Tour in aller Ruhe abzufahren, empfiehlt es sich, frühmorgens loszufahren, sobald die Bergbahnen den Betrieb aufnehmen.
